Its pretty obvious I am in the business of everything baby, but I also hold a special place in my heart for photographing high school seniors. I can totally appreciate the fact that graduating high school can be so immensely exciting and at the same time so insanely scary! Its such a pivotal moment in a young person’s life and you are on the verge of the unknown. There is so much more to living and experiences ahead of you. You are moving on to a new chapter in your life that may or may not include attending college, moving out of state, or even living on your own. Everyone is looking at you to find out what your next move will be and the pressure is real. I totally get it. I was there. I remember the feeling of wanting to flee my parent’s nest, move off to college, and begin to live my life the way I wanted and ASAP. But coupled with this excitement – you know, the kind you feel before the first day of school – I felt uncertain, a little less confident than I led on, and even a tiny bit sad. But girlllllll, then my freshman year of college started and I took off like an eagle! LOL I digress. My point is, the last thing on you need to have adding to the overwhelming pressure or high expectations you may be feeling is having your senior portraits done!
Your senior portrait experience should be like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. You should expect it to be an experience that is ridiculously fun and styled to showcase YOU at your very best.
