Transport yourself back in time to when you first held your new baby with natural newborn photography. As your newborn photographer, it is my goal to help you remember the natural beauty of details like their tiny fingers and toes, pink lips, and their smile.

My approach to photographing and posing newborns is baby-led, meaning, I follow your baby's natural movements. Using soft, delicate textures in snow white with touches of neutral colors allows me to beautifully create natural, and timeless images.

Some of the most cherished images from your newborn session are the ones that capture the tiny details you never want to forget. The swirl of their hairline, the curve of their lips, their little fingers wrapped tightly around yours or the folds in their back. These features seem so permanent at the moment, yet they change almost overnight.

I include a series of macro photographs or detail images that highlight these fleeting details. These quiet changes happen so quickly that many parents are astonished when they look back at how much their baby has transformed before their eyes.

For the parents who worry about how their older children will behave during their new baby's photography session, I got this. First things first mama, my studio is a judgement-free zone. Even the most normally well-behaved children have challenging days...especially with a new baby in the home. Don't be embarrassed. Relax and let me lead.

I use games, songs, dancing, and loads of patience and positive reinforcement to create the images you love. Through the years I have mastered my workflow in the essence of your young child's time and temperament. And while I am no wizard, I am a photoshop master and have been able to create beautiful, final images out of a combination of photos.

What if my baby doesn't sleep during the session?

Don't worry. This happens from time to time. Babies have good and bad days, just like us. This is why I use the upmost patience when working with babies and young children. I meet them exactly where they are whether they're sleeping peacefully or wide awake. I follow their cues and respond accordingly. With gentle posing, swaddling, and pausing to feed or change them, I aim to create beautiful images awake or not.

What do I do if I'm still healing from birth and don't feel "photo ready"?

You are not alone in feeling this way. I don't want you to schedule your newborn session any sooner than you are ready to leave your house. However, time is fleeting. This is why I offer professional hair and makeup for moms and a curated postpartum friendly wardrobe so you can feel and look refreshed. My goal is that you feel comfortable, cared for, and radiant.

When should I book my newborn session?

I recommend reserving your session during your second trimester or at least 1-2 months before your due date. This will allow us time for a wardrobe consultation, session preparation, and availability. The ideal age for a newborn session is 10-14 days.

What if my older child doesn't want to cooperate?

I fill them with sweet treats and send them home with a puppy. Just kidding! This is a judgement free zone so first things first, I don't want you to feel embarrassed or ashamed. As a mom myself, I completely understand this worry. I work as quickly as I can with siblings, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and safe. I use gentle prompts and playful direction to keep experiences fun and I'm not above using bribery and rewarding them for following directions. My best advice for you is to relax, stay ready, and smile because often times the best images come from the in-between times.

What if my baby has flaky skin, baby acne, or a scratch on their face?

That's very normal in the newborn stage. With careful lighting, angles, and professional editing, those little imperfections are softened so the focus remains on your baby's natural beauty.

What if my baby arrives sooner or later than expected, or even has to stay in the NICU?

No need to stress. I only accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month so I can remain flexible around your baby's arrival. We'll adjust your session date as needed once your little one is here.
