The Almond Blossom tree is one of my very favorite trees. It erupts tens of thousands of delicate, white, and pink florals in the springtime before its leaves bloom. And, it provides a most romantic backdrop for a sunset maternity session for mamas who love spring and the outdoors. Enter Julia and her wonderful family, Stefan, and Beau.
Julia wore two beautiful gowns from my ever-growing, client closet during her session. The first dress is a favorite of mine because it’s the perfect touch of green without being too green. Is that even a thing? Anyway, the embroidery, sequins, and detailed patterns are stunning and it was a perfect touch of sophistication. The second dress, also a client favorite, looked wonderful and glistened so wonderfully against the golden sunset. The floral sequins on the bodice shimmered in the warm glow as the white almond blossoms cascaded around her so perfectly. March was the perfect month for Julia’s Almond Blossom sunset maternity session. The weather was perfect, the sun shined longer, and the mosquitos were still at bay. Everything was simply, perfect.

Julia and Beau’s wardrobe was provided by the studio. Julia’s beautiful hairstyling and makeup were provided by my makeup artist, Ludi Farias.
