Chandler, AZ Maternity Portraits
I love when new moms are excited to capture their growing bellies with a maternity session during sunset in a desert setting. Thankfully, the weather in Chandler is permitting more opportunities to create portrait sessions outdoors. We began Joann’s maternity session with professional makeup application by one of my favorite makeup artists, Marisa Rios who custom blends foundation for my clients and makes them look stunning for their portraits. Professional makeup application is included with my maternity portrait sessions and Marisa is lovely enough to come to my home studio for application appointments making this very convenient for my clients. After her make up was professionally applied, Joann chose a lovely gown from my studio closet where clients have an opportunity to select an outfit for their portrait session. After her outfits were chosen, we headed off to Veterans Oasis Park – my absolute favorite park to photograph inside because there are so many hidden landscape treasures.
We took our time walking along the pathways and trails to find the most opportune areas to create vignettes with what greenery the desert has to offer. With the sun preparing to set behind South Mountain, we took advantage of the warm, golden glow of the sun’s rays. Placed in front of the sunset, creating a beautiful back-lit image, Joann posed her baby bump proudly. Working with Joann is definitely one of the reasons why I absolutely love being a maternity portrait photographer. Joann’s personality is so absolutely warm and bubbly she can make anyone smile when she talks with them. I am one lucky soul to be commissioned to work with such amazing clients to create images they will love for a lifetime!
